SDGsの実施に向けた国際的／各国における展望についてのシンポジウムおよびワークショップ『On the Road to 2030 – Global and National Perspectives on Implementation of the SDGS』が、2016年2月29日と3月1日にかけて、マレーシアのクアラルンプールにて開会されました。

本イベントは、SDSN (Sustainable Development Solutions Network) 、国連大学サステイナビリティ高等研究所（UNU-IAS）、ハイテクのためのマレーシア産業政府グループ（MIGHT）、マレーシア戦略国際問題研究所（ISIS）、マレーシア国民大学（UKM）環境開発研究所（LESTARI）および慶應義塾大学が共催となって開催されたものです。2015年9月の国連総会において採択された「持続可能な開発のための2030アジェンダ」をめぐり、各国がどのようにグローバルに設定された目標に取り組んでいるのか、効果的な実施に向けた経験と今後の展望を共有することを目的に、日本およびマレーシア、インドネシア、カンボジア、ドイツ、オーストラリアからの参加者が討論を行いました。日本からはSDSN Japan理事の蟹江憲史教授が参加しました。

SDSN and UNU-IAS jointly organised an international workshop for global and local implementation of SDGs,  the Road to 2030 – Global and National Perspectives on Implementation of the SDGS  in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia .

This event was supported by the Malaysian Industry Government Group for High Technology (MIGHT), the Office of the Science Advisor; the Institute of Strategic and International Studies (ISIS), University Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) and LESTARI, the Keio Research Institute,  and the Project On Sustainability Transformation beyond 2015 (S-11 project of the Environment Research and Technology Development Fund, or POST2015).

In order to share the effective experiences and perspectives on implementation of SDGs, participants from Japan, Malaysia, Cambodia, Germany, and Australia discussed how each country were taking action toward SDGs. From Japan, Prof. Norichika Kanie joined the meeting.
