Archives of “Japan SDGs Action Forum” are now available


The Japan SDGs Action Promotion Council, chaired by SDSN Japan Program Chair, Professor Norichika Kanie of Keio University Graduate School, held the “Japan SDGs Action Forum” on Tuesday, March 29, 2022.

This forum will share the importance of the leverage points that are the key to “change” in achieving the SDGs in Japan, based on the global trends indicated in the Global Sustainable Development Report (GSDR) 2023, and discuss the future direction of the SDGs in Japan with stakeholders such as the government, local governments, civil society, business sector, youth, and others.

Co-sponsored by the United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs (UNDESA), Professor Kanie and three other independent scientists who write the GSDR took the stage to discuss the actions required of Japan to achieve the SDGs.
